NOVA Chemicals adds licensee to Western Canada
Pittsburgh, PA (December 3, 2009) - NOVA Chemicals (Canada) Ltd., has signed an exclusive license agreement with Plasti-Fab® Ltd., for Elemix® concrete additive in Western Canada. Under the agreement, Plasti-Fab will manufacture and sell Elemix additive in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Plasti-Fab is an established expandable polystyrene (EPS) manufacturer and provides an increased Western Canadian presence for Elemix concrete additive.
“Elemix additive is a complementary addition to our portfolio of products developed from EPS-based technology. We see significant opportunities for our customers in Western Canada to use it in concrete to provide innovative, lightweight, crack resistant products,” stated Bruce Carruthers, Chief Operating Officer, PFB Corporation.
